Last updated September 7, 2026. Gokab is operated by Binns Pte. Ltd., who is also the seller of record for anything you buy here.
By accessing or using Gokab (“the Service”), operated by Binns Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy below, including the analytics and cookies described there. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a daily word game. We publish a new run per language each day and aim to keep the words and translations accurate, but the Service is for entertainment and practice. It is not a teaching qualification, a translation service, or advice you should rely on.
You can play without an account. If you create one, it is personal to you: you are responsible for activity under it and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. Don’t share an account, and don’t create accounts to work around the one-run-a-day rule or the free daily revive.
Revives are sold in packs of 3 for $1.00, as a one-time purchase processed by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Revives are a consumable delivered to your account immediately, they are used up as you spend them, and they have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Taxes are applied where required. Refunds are handled case by case, in line with the policy shown at checkout and applicable consumer law, so email us. If your account is deleted, any unspent revives go with it.
Don’t use the Service unlawfully, don’t attempt to disrupt it or interfere with other players, and don’t scrape or bulk-copy the word banks. Automating play or tampering with the game to fake a score is a waste of everyone’s time; we may reset scores or suspend accounts that do it, or that otherwise violate these Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. A run may be lost to a browser crash, a cleared cache, or a bug, and days may be missed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
We may change or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or, if you’re signed in, by email.
No account, no name, no email. Your browser gets a random identifier in a cookie, which is how the game knows you’re the same player tomorrow. Nothing about you is stored in it or derivable from it. Against that identifier we record how your runs go: the language, the day, how deep you got, which words were missed and what was tapped instead, and whether a revive was used. Your recent history and streak are also kept locally in your own browser so the game works offline.
Your email address (that’s how passwordless sign-in works), any profile name you provide, and your revive balance and purchase records. Your card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers; we see billing metadata such as the amount and the last four digits.
Minting a challenge link creates a public URL that shows the day, the language, and the score you chose to share. Anyone with the link can open it, so only send it where you mean to.
We measure the Service with Google Analytics 4, supplied by Google. It is on for every visitor, on every page, from the first page you open. There is no cookie banner and no per-cookie toggle: by using the Service you consent to Google Analytics running in full, and to everything it does as described here.
In practice that means Google Analytics sets and reads its own cookies in your browser, gives your browser an identifier that persists between visits, and collects the pages you view, when and in what order, how long you stay, how far you scroll, links you click that lead off the site, files you download, the referrer or campaign that brought you, your device, browser, operating system, screen size and language, and an approximate location (usually city level) derived from your IP address. Google processes all of that on our behalf under Google’s terms, may transfer it outside your country, and may retain it for as long as its own retention settings allow.
We do not run Google Consent Mode in a restricted state, so nothing here is throttled while you wait to answer a banner. If you would rather not be measured, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on, block the tag with a content blocker, or stop using the Service. We also keep ordinary server logs to operate and secure the Service.
To run the game and keep your streak, to see which words are too hard or wrong so we can fix them, to understand whether people come back, to take payment, and to send transactional email (sign-in codes, receipts, important notices). We do not sell your personal data and we don’t use it to advertise to you.
We share data with the processors that run the Service, namely Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Google (analytics), and our hosting provider, under their respective terms.
Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with and we will send you a copy of everything on your account, or delete the account and its data, within 30 days. If you play anonymously, clearing this site’s cookies and site data removes the local history and severs the link between you and the anonymous play records, which we keep in aggregate to tune the game.
